Copious Readership, help me out here:
If Barack Obama or Sarah Palin weren’t married with children, who would swarm out onto the stage to hug them after their big speeches? Would no one come out? Would they be able to choose a couple close friends to walk onstage and congratulate them? A favorite cousin? Parents?
You may say, “But if Obama or Palin weren’t married, they wouldn’t have been nominated to their respective positions anyway.”
Exactly.
