Onely (along with Singletude, Sexless in the City, and Singlutionary) were featured in the Sydney Morning Herald today! We’re (very minor) celebrities, apparently, in Australia: Hooray!
The Herald mentioned our guest post at Professor What If’s blog: What if Married People Were Treated Like Singles?
We’re terribly flattered — this is our first public appearance. And — awww, shucks… We’re blushing!

Congrats on the (well-deserved) coverage, Onely. And thanks so much for the link to Single Shot Seattle!
Glad to have you as a reader — and we’re looking forward to reading more of you… We picked you up thanks to Bella DePaulo’s most recent Living Single post. 🙂

Yes, definitely well-deserved coverage. Congratulations!! It’s good to know that the voice of us singles is being heard, even if it doesn’t seem like it.
Thanks for the link too!
Great to see that these blogs are getting some media coverage.
I did cringe a little when one of the single women bragged about buying a sports car, saying that it was “indulgent”.
I think that plays into stereotypes of singles (and the single life) as self-centered and lacking in responsibility.
Of course, it’s certainly possible that the Sydney Herald specifically chose to mention that because it fits with the stereotype.
Alan — excellent point! Alas, I guess it’s too easy to make use of stereotypes even when promoting the single life.

Congratulations!!! This is terrific!
